| Yesterday was soo much fun!!
I had orchestra at 8:30 in
the morning, then I walked home. At around 10:30 I left for Sarah and
Grace's house. When I got there I got a tour of there "offive house"
and their actual home. I helped label some BRIGHT LIGHTS cd's, and I counted inventory so they could send orders to restock.
Then Sarah and I had a nice long talk and then we had lunch (it was really good .)
After that Grace and I went outside to pick cherries from their cherry tree, and we baked a cherry pie yuuummm .
After that Sarah called
Nicki and Laura Biegler to come over and go on a bikride on the trail
behind the Mally's house, since it was Nicki's 19th birthday. So then
Nicki and Laura came over, and we all rode to Tastee Freez, and Sarah
bought everybody (but Grace, because she had her own money, and they're
sisters, lol) a nice cold treat. On the ride home Laura invited me to
her wedding (I'm sooo excitied ).
When the Biegler's left,
Sarah, Grace, Stephen, and I had dinner, and then they played me their
harp trio (it was verry pretty!!). Then Sarah asked me to play them a
song on the piano, so I played my favorite (Granda by Ableniz).
Then Grace got this crazy
idea to go to a concert at New Covenant, and we all thought it sounded
fum, so Sarah, Grace and I loaded up into the van, and went to the
Voices of Patriotic Hope concert. The music was really good!!
My dad picked me up there, and then my day ended.

How much is a smile worth?
Here's a little story to prove that smiles can be worth so much more than you think, and this story is 100% true!
Up
in the big city of New York there lived a little girl named Hannah.
Hannah was a very poor girl who didn't have much. One day Hannah went
to help out with a ministry project, and she had the opportunity to go
up on stage and perform in a short skit.
That very same
day, a man, about in his thirties, was having a very rotten day, and he
was feeling very sad and depressed. This man had riches beyond
complare, but happiness was not his lot.
As the man was
walking around New York, he came across the building that Hannah was
doing her skit in, so he walked in and took a seat.
Right
away he noticed this little girl Hannah, and her radiant smile. At a
time in the skit, Hannah looked directly at this man and gave him the
biggest smile.
When the man walked out, he felt better about himself, and was extraordinarily encouraged by this little girl's smile.
Years
later when the man died, people came to read his will, but were
surprised to find that he had not left any money to relatives (because
they were already very wealthy), but he left money to all the people
that had encouraged him in little ways, and on that very list was
Hannah. The girl that had smiled at him once, he remembered for the
rest of his life, and because of her smile, the man left her 150,000
dollars.
So how much is a smile really worth? The
truth is money, or material things in general cannot compare to the joy
you can give and recieve through a smile, so the next time you take a
walk, be sure to give someone a big smile!!
